Synopsis: Spiritual, mental and physical harmony between men and women is the unshakable foundation of a successful marriage. This naturally involves an element of mutual trust and understanding. Without that a marriage wrecks on the rocks of frustration and strife. Amar and Neeta are introduced by a playboy friend Prakash in a Ramleela rehearsel. Neeta is impressed by Amar and falls in love with him. Amar also falls in love with her. Prakash, who believed in loving every young and beautiful girl, starts loving Neeta. When he comes to know tha Neeta loves Amar he feels it. Neeta is brought up under the influence of West. Amar is a typical Indian, yet both promise to adjust in life and get married. Fate never spares anyone. Amar, himself an architect, could not be an architect of his own destiny. One day, on the eve of Neeta's birthday, her friends dance and drink in the house during Amar's absence. Amar comes and finds drink all over the place.
