Synopsis:

Shanta Apte, this film is based on the then prevalent social issue of May december marriage. Neera's uncle; tempted by the lure of money, geys her married to reputed lawyer, older than her father's age. But Neera fights against this injustice. Yet she doesnot humiliate her husband one bit while doing so. SHe doesnot even tolerate anyone elase insulting him. Contemporary social structure has been superbly captured in this film. The latent strengt of a woman to fight against injustice has been presented here.
