Synopsis:

Sita (Waheeda Rehman) is saved by Ram( Manoj Kumar) one night while she is sleepwalking. Sita's father fixes her marriage with Ram. The two get married, Sita astounds everyone with her strange behaviour. She spends long periods of time outside the house at night, with everyone, including her mother-in-law attributing it to be an act of infidelity rather than her illness of sleepwalking. But then it seems as if Sita is drawn to some unknown facts from her past life...The very mystery which keeps attracting Sita to it.
