Synopsis:

Pyaar to hona hi tha is the story of sanjana, a young girl who lives in paris and is engaged to Rajul. On a business trip to India Rahul meets another girl and breaks his engagement with Sanjana. Sanjana decides to travel to India to win Rahul back. On the airplane, sanjana meets shekhar, a thief, who is carrying a stolen diamond neclace. Shekhar hides the diamond necklace in Sanjana;'s purse to get through customs. Upon arrival shekhar is stopped by Inspector Khan who is investigating the necklace theft....
