Synopsis :

Abijot (Harbhajan Mann) and Mithro (Tulip Joshi) become friends as children. Abijot's family is a rich family, and Mithro's family is a poor family. The 2 families do not like them playing with each other so Abijot's family sends him and his cousin to Chandigarh where they both can do their studies. Fifteen years later Abijot and his cousin Tcome back. Abijot meets Mithro and they really want to marry each other, but their families will never allow their union. Mithro's family decide to marry her off to someone else, but the day of her wedding she runs to Abijot and meets him, she falls there because she had eaten poison. She tells him that she is leaving and will meet him again in this birth. Mithro dies.

Abijot gets depressed so his family decide to send him off to Canada where he can start his life a new. Abijot goes into his uncle's house but his cousin Teddy is jealous of Abijot and wants him to leave. So he moves into Lucky's house (Gurpreet Ghuggi), his childhood friend which is married to a black women. One day Abijot and Lucky go to a coffee shop and Abijot sees the exact same double of Mithro, named Ekam but it turns out she is blind.

Abijot comforts Ekam and, they both fall in love. Abijot wants Ekam to see the world so he calls his parents in India and tells them he wants to buy a house. They send him the money. He pays for the surgery with the money and it was sucessful and when it's time for Ekam to take the bandaid off she refuses because she wants to see Abijot's face first. The doctor takes Ekam's bandaid off because he has another patient to take care of. Abijot rushes there and then he sees a man, Ekam's fiance. Ekam's family thought he left her because she was blind but, it turns out he left because his father got murdered and, the police arrested him even though he didn't do anything and, he was kept in jail for 6 years. Abijot sadly leaves them both.

Ekam is with her fiance but is not happy because she loves Abijot. Abijot's father gets sick so he leaves for India, and Abijot's cousin who is from India comes to Canada and is living in Lucky's house. Abijot's father says that all he wants is to see him married, and Abijot agrees against his will. Ekam's father tells her that she can marry whoever she wants, and Ekam decides on Abijot. Ekam rushes to Lucky's house because she thinks hes there. She meets Abijot's cousin and asks where he is, and she sees picture of Mithro and is shocked because she knows she has not taken those pictures. Abijot's cousin tells her everything about Mithro and says that he has left for India. Ekam misunderstands and thinks Abijot cheated on her and left back to Mithro. Abijot's cousin tells her that he went back to meet his sick father, and that Mithro died a year ago. Ekam is shocked.

Abijot's wedding preparations are being made untill Abijot's cousin brings Ekam up. Everyone is shocked and can't believe this is Mithro because she died. Abijot tells them that this is Ekam, and he also tells them that before dieing Mithro said she will meet him again in this birth and here she is. The two families finally realize that two lovers can never be seperated and allow their union. Abijot and Ekam live happily ever after.
