Synopsis :

Arun Joglekar (Mukesh Khanna) lives with his wife, sister Shivangi,(Rageshwari), and brother Karan (Akshay Kumar). Arun and Karan are police officers. In an encounter with Goli (Shakti Kapoor), Arun is killed and Karan vows revenge of his brother's death. Mona (Shilpa Shetty) is the only eye-witness to Arun's death. Karan comes in contact with her. Realizing that Mona could pose a danger to him, Goli kills her. Meanwhile, Deepak Kumar (Saif Ali Khan) is a star but is frustrated with his roles. He wants to do an action thriller. He sees Karan in action and he wants to play Karan in a movie. When he does, he becomes a big star. Deepak gets the permission to stay witb Karan for a month. At this time, Karan meets Basanti, a dancer, who looks like Mona. He decides to transform Basanti in to a cabaret dancer. He realized he needed help from Deepak in converting her into a sophisticated dancer. He then plants her in Goli's hotel as Mona and she convinces him that she has lost her memory. Does Karan get revenge? What heppens to the love between Karan and Basanti? Deepak and Shivangi?
