Synopsis:

Karan(Rajesh Khanna)is a rich landlord of Anand Nagar with all bad habits.He meets Lata(Hema Malini) and hires her to be his secretary.He brings her to Anand Nagar where Lata realizes that Karan is very nice at heart but due to his habits nobody in his family respects him.Samsher singh(Prem Chopra) karan's brother who wants to take over the whole property and money and always keeps away from the family and business maters.On the other hand Lata is trying to improve Karan and get him involved and protects him.
